Older YOU RACE racing pics

Yeti's history is in Racing, Naturally, many Yeti's around the world are raced, both by race teams and by you guys. Send your Photo's of you racing to YetiFan.

One fat Yeti racing at the Midlands series round 1 at Cannock UK!

All Joking apart, it was a great but tough course, especially for somebody like me who is not very fit

Jean

I found a picture of me in a race many many years ago on a darkblue Yeti Fro with one of the first Manitou Forks made by Answer.

The frame still hangs in our basement along with a custom Yeti ARC in forest green and yellow.

Best regards from Germany, Fred

(no big pics) Please find attached some pictures of racing Yeti's from the Enduro 6... Goldtec entered 6 teams into the event a couple of first timers and a converted roadie. All teams did fantastically well and loved the course. Special thanks has got to go out to James (The Roadie) fiancée who had to bring his bike lock keys out to the race after he'd locked his bike to the roof rack !

Matt.

Just thought I would send in a pic of my DH9's last race ever during the 04 race season. I was racing with a dislocated shoulder and have since sat out for the last season. I miss her lots

Rob Purcell racing his yeti at Eastway.

Have you been following the British 4x championship this year?

Martin Ogden is kicking Scott Beaumonts arse. Martin has recently joined my Crosstrax team and we have put him on a Yeti DJ.

He's beaten the rocky Mountain riding Scott Beaumont in both this seasons races.

In fact we just got back from Prague where we were racing in the SEAT 4X masters. where Martin was head to head with Brian Lopes in both his heat race and the quarter finals, and although he crashed out on the last bend in the quarter final, there was a rizla between them. hopefull we will see the yeti riding Martin win the 2006 British 4X this year. check out Martins web site ( www.martinogden.com ) also what do you think to the bike?

Ed Crosstrax

These pictures where taken of our team Yeti/Goldtec a couple of weeks ago at the 24/12, if you look closely you can see the track turning from a dish bowl to a river of mud in lap. We did the 12hr and got 2nd...

Two Yeti sightings at the the Winter Park Colorado Races this summer.

Racing my AS-X in the Philippines - Blair

I don't often compete, ( to the shame of my Kokopelli missile!) but there's an interesting hillclimb every year on my local mountain, called the Mast Challenge.

900m vertical distance over about 11 km, half dirt, 2nd half (steeper!) tarmac. I managed it in under an hour, which was my goal, The people who took it seriously and trained did something around three quarters of an hour.

Andrew - Cape Town.

This is Paul doing the 'Trans-Scotland 2007

Pictures from Bristol Bike fest, we came 4th in the 12hour.

Check out the team kit, matching shorts and Turquoise helmet! The ASR ruled around this circuit.

Dan.

This is Team Goldtec- they came 4th overall in the 'competitive' category.

......Cross.................riding an almost road bike around almost mountain bike trails.. in mud and stuff and having to run across barriers.. Today was my fourth attempt at cross and my second on my new Yeti CX in the Scottish national CX series.

I will be honest and tell you it's like 4 degrees.. so pucking cold. Secondly we were lucky today was dry and pretty mud free. Thirdly you can be an old barstard like myself and wheelie across the line when you win your 4th on the trot..

I am migrating to Australia this week to see daylight.. so till next time.. I may have a better tan in the photo!
