(From Jared Graves) its been a while since my last one, so I thought i should give a bit of a report. The last 6 weeks now since the MTB world champs have been all about getting some last minute prep in place for the games. Its been almost 2 years since things got real
serious to get to this point, so im starting to get pretty excited about it all. All my bikes are dialled in and ready to go, I have to give a huge thanks to all my sponsors, especially My main sponsor Yeti Cycles for getting me 2 olympic machines. All sponsors have been great in the lead up to the games and have got me all my gear dialled in! Training has been going great, the motivation has been through the roof, getting out knowing your training for the olympics is a really good feeling! So the plan from now is just some training and relaxing at home, and heading back to Sydney on the 11th for a few days at Madills place again before flying out of Sydney for Beijing on the 15th. Many people have asked me why we arent attending the opening ceremony. And It comes down to the air quality and lack of training facilities for us in China. We could go for the opening ceremony and stay for the 12 days till we race with no training facilities, or fly home again after the ceremony only to fly back again a few days later, which is way too much energy sapping travel. So were staying in Australia till the 15th which will give us the best preparation we can get. Anyways, dinner is cooked, so it;'s time to eat! Ill be trying to do more regular updates soon, Its time to start tapering now, so Ill have more time to type then! Cheers! Gravey!

Justin Leov. __________________ Enclosed is a scan of a sticker I found from the old Yeti factory in Durango... Does anyone remember Caroll Gumard ?? Looks to be 1995.....Gotta love it....... .Dennis I recently went to a yard sale in Durango..There was an impressive selection of Yeti swag...Here is a scan of some Christmas wrapping paper from Yeti. These were huge 24 x 36 sheets of wrapping paper with the Yeti logo and Yetiman......Owner dated this from 1995.....The items belonged to Tracey Wilde....The Campy - Yeti wrench from Durango...A real sweetheart.
I just checked out your website and saw that you were missing the Yeti brochure from 1989-1990. I worked & raced for Yeti from 1989 – 1992 and am the ex-wife of Chris Herting. Thanks for keeping the history alive. It was a fun and wonderful experience being a part of the original tribe. Leeann I see that the site is all bikes, thought you might like a Yeti jersey photo. Could anybody date the year of this jersey by the sponsors? Photo was taken at the Summer Soltice 24 Hr race at Albin Hill, Ontario, Canada, June 2006. I raced on a '88 or '89 Yeti ARC with dropbars and a 1 x 9 drivetrain, sorry can't locate a photo at present. Great website keep up the good work Ted Ingram
