So it was begining of February, first it was previously planned to do MT Kilimandjaro, but was not authorized ,so we moved to MT KENYA, 3 days to go up(walking most of time) by siremon rout to the summit Pic Lenana 4985 m (theres 3 summit and the higher is 5190 but it's alpinism).1 day to go down to 1500 m and something like 40 kms of singletrack rideable at 95 %,fantastic !!!

We were 4 people and the bikes were 2 Yeti 575 and 2 Rocky Switch (sorry) ;the choice was perfect for this trip.We had one porter each for our personal bagpack and one guide.The contact address  of Mr Robin our guide is sunicemountaintrekking@hotmail.com or Miss Rispa at ktadventures@africaonline.co.ke for a more regular tour operator agency.

If you except some problems of aclimatisation to the altitude ,it's really a fabulous experience to do in your life of an MTB Enduro rider. You need 7 days of holiday and fly to Nairobi(easy for English guys) and the Mt Kenya is just at 3 or 4 hours of minivan.Just one thing is a little disappointment for us,you can not really see a lot of animals in the Mt Kenya area,if you want to see animals for sure you must go in safari in some national parks of Kenya.
