updated- Miguels AS-X (added April 08)
Here's an update on my AS-X
Things were getting out of control weight-wise, and I even considered changing to a full DH bike, which
meant letting go of the AS-X. But when push came to came to shove, NO WAY! Out with the 66RC, Saints Cranks, and those Single Track rims with fat tyres. Enter the 36 FLOAT, 08 XTs and a pair of nasty Crossmax
SX. Result: 3 kg less, at a rate of 500 EUR/kg! Ouch! But hey, doesn't she look great?
Anyway, the Lisbon DT is just a month away, let's see if I can get decent pics of Yeti team action to share with the rest of the Yeti fans.

 Enrico's AS-X (added October 2007)
I'm Enrico from Alessandria (Italy). This is my 2007 Yeti ASX. I bought it in April this year, but made a few upgrades and here I am with the final version. It's
excellent in downhill, especially in winding technical trails wtih thight curves and rocky gardens (the ground I like most, therefore I took it in S size), but it is
still good at climbing, thanks to geometry and ETA fork. Setup specs Rear shock: Fox DHX 5.0 Fork: Marzocchi 66 RC2 ETA Brakes: Avid Juicy Five Stem: Race
Face Evolve DH Handlebar: Truvativ Holzfeller Tires: Kenda Nevegal Pedals: Crank Brothers 5050 Regards Enrico

ASX is my newest bike at the moment and have mainly done XC and light downhill on it with a fairly light build at 33lb again a
very versatile bike
    Scott AS-X 2007 (added September 2007)
Scott from Alabam, USA. I had originally set out to purchase a 575 and ended up getting the ASX about a month
ago. I ordered it from a dealer in California who had to order it from Yeti and it took about a month to get it. I must say it was well worth the wait as this bike is just awesome!
It climbs very well too which was the only thing I was worried about. Thanks to the Poster's on your site for the opinions and advice!
I ordered the bike with the Yeti freeride kit, but made a few changes; I got the 2008 model Talas 36 RC2 fork, a 500# spring on the rear shock, upgraded the headset to a sealed bearing unit
and although the Yeti kit listed Hayes disc brakes mine came with Avid Juicy 5's which was just fine with me. I also got a set of AtomLab Aircorp pedals which are great, got a set of those on
my other bike that I've been using for months now.
Anyhow the bike rides awesome and looks just as good, quality is superb!
Thanks, Scott
